Osimhen, Umar Missing As Super Eagles Coach Invites Musa, Awoniyi, 23 Others for Friendly Against Algeria

 Ahmed Musa has been invited for the Super Eagles friendly match against North African powerhouse Algeria Coach Jose Peseiro has named a 24-man squad for the friendly billed for Stade Olympique in Oran on September 27 Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi are expected to start in the midfield, while Taiwo Awoniyi and Cyriel Dessers are expected to lead the attack 

The head coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Jose Peseiro, has named captain Ahmed Musa and his deputy William Troost-Ekong for the friendly match against Algeria. The Fennec Foxes of Algeria will host the Super Eagles in an international friendly on September 27 in the town of Oran.

Also invited for the friendly encounter are goalkeepers Francis Uzoho and Maduka Okoye, defenders Kenneth Omeruo, Chidozie Awaziem and Calvin Bassey. 

Only Richard Onyedikaof the Belgian top team, Club Brugge, is a new face in the group. Germany –based defender Kevin Akpoguma also returns to the fold.
