Hearts of Oak defeated in Dormaa

Accra Hearts of Oak suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Aduana Stars in their first match of the 2022/2023  Ghana Premier League on Sunday in Dormaa Ahenkoro.

The loss takes the Phobians’ winless run in Dormaa to six games, with their last win at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park coming in 2014. 

Bright Adjei scored the only goal of the game in the 49th minute, after a goalless first half, to give the away side all three points.

Hearts of Oak finished the game with 10 men after Caleb Amankwah was sent off in the 89th minute.
